Anne Hughes Cosgrove

Anne Cosgrove, age 89, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. She was born February 1, 1928 in Wellsville, New York, to William Richard and Mary Rogenmosier Hughes.

Anne was a well- loved woman who lived her life serving and loving others. She and her first husband, Ross were co-founders of The Bridge House in Hot Springs Village. She was a devoted bridge player, even receiving the title of “Life Master” in duplicate bridge. She was a very active member of The Village Bridge Club and ACBL. Anne was a fabulous cook and could make the most exquisite meals. She will be remembered for her loving heart and kind gestures towards people she met all throughout her lifetime.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Rossiter Mullaney, her second husband, Tom Cosgrove; a daughter, Colleen Fisher; one sister, June Shafer.

Anne is survived by her son, Mike Mullaney and his wife, Sharon; her daughter, Maureen McDonald, and five grandchildren.

A mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Bill Elser officiating. Interment will follow in CedarVale Cemetery.
